He was born Nov. 30, 1961, in San Francisco, California, to N. Baxter and Margaret (Blair) Jenkins, who preceded him in death.
Jon is survived by his sister, Jane (Dan) Fraver of Fostoria.
Jon was a 1979 graduate of Mercer Island High School, Washington, and received his master’s degree in Choral & Directing of Music from Washington State University. He was currently employed at Meijer, Findlay, and was a member of, and the organist at Good Hope Lutheran Church, Arlington. Jon loved God and spreading his word. Music was his life. He played for Northwest Ballet in Seattle, Washington, for several years.
Jon's funeral will was held Jan. 12, 2022, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Pastor Steve Ramsey officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park, Seattle, Washington with a service prior beginning at 1:30pm at Evergreen Washelli.
