Julia Allraum Morrison HOPPE March 8, 1916 ~ October 12, 2008 After 92 years, Julia Judy Hoppe passed away peacefully following a sharp decline in her health that began 14 months earlier after a fall. Up until that time, she remained living in the home that she moved into with her young family days before Pearl Harbor was bombed in 1941. She is reunited in Heaven with her husband of nearly 32 years, Walt Hoppe, her identical twin sister Mary and numerous family members and friends. Born in Seattle in 1916, Mom lived most of her life here. Faith and family were the most important things to her. She loved the active life and she and Walt spent many hours traveling around the state boating, fishing, golfing and bowling. She was a devoted to her grandchildren and provided them with many happy memories of times with Grandma "Mimi". She enjoyed and was comforted by a long and faithful membership in Our Savior Lutheran Church. She is survived by her three children, Jean Nelson Dick, Larry Morrison Janet and Suzanne Bragdon Kirk, grandchildren Kent Morrison Theresa, Kevin Morrison Lenea, Dina McDonald, Joanna Nelson, and Stephanie Bragdon, and five great grandchildren. If the measure of ones success in life is family, Mom lived a full and complete life. She has left a strong, well grounded and loving family behind; for that, we are blessed. It is tough to say good-bye, but we know you are where you want to be and where you now belong. We all love you and miss you Mom/Mimi.God Bless You and Keep You. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Washelli Memorial Parks and Funeral Home.
