

Kenneth Beckham was born on March 12, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York at Kings County Hospital to Freddie, Sr. and Fannie Mae Beckham. Beck as he was affectionately known received his early education in the Public Schools of Brooklyn. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1969 and soon after he joined the United States Marine Corp.
While serving in the Marine Corp he was deployed to the Vietnam War. After his deployment he was stationed in California for a brief moment where he met Lillian B. Brown. After being Honorable Discharged from the Marines he returned home to Brooklyn.
In 1976 Beck moved to Seattle, WA to be with Lillian. They were wedded March 2, 1984 to this union one daughter was born Kennita D. Beckham. He was also blessed with four sons: Larry, James, Kenneth and Delvin.
Beck worked over 20 years for the United States Postal Service where he was a Supervisor.
On Saturday, March 19, 2016 Beck gave his life back to Christ.
After a 9 month battle with Lung Cancer Beck departed this life Peacefully on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the VA Hospital in Seattle.
Beck was preceded in death by his wife Lillian B. Beckham, his parents Freddie, Sr. and Fannie Mae his Brothers Freddie, Jr. and Carl and his Sister Mae.
He Leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Kennita D. Beckham, four sons Larry E. Brown, James D. Brown, Kenneth A. Brown(Stacy) and Delvin R. Brown, Sr.(Carolyn) four grandsons Dante J. Brown, Sr.(Zenobia), Delvin R. Brown, Jr., Devin L. Brown and DeAngelo J. Brown. One brother Stanley Beckham, Sr. And host of Nephew, Nieces, Family and Friends.
