Laura Elizabeth Keating

Laura Elizabeth (Strieble) Keating, 96, died peacefully at home October 12, 2012. With Jesus as her guiding Savior, she became a registered nurse, wife, mother, poet and song writer. Devoted and faithful to her family, she served as the shining example of unconditional love. Her wisdom, sensitivity and compassion reflected in her eyes from her soul.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence. She is survived by her children, Kathryn Day of Edmonds, Wa; Jo De An Keating of Hayward, Ca; Sandy Sela-Smith of Conifer, CO; and Jan, Pete and Mary Keating of Seattle, Wa. Jan, whom she called, "My Angel" was her constant companion and care provider for the last thirteen years of her life. Laura is also survived by her grandchildren, David, Peter and Julie Day; Courtney, Spencer and Shannon Keating; and by her great grandchildren, Erin, Ethan, Kyle and Eva Marie Day. Her spirit will be with us always.
