
Lupe L Henry was born on December 12, 1931 and passed away after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease on January 9, 2015. She grew up in New Mexico as one of five children and graduated from Roswell High School. She moved with her siblings to Seattle in 1950 where later she met and married her husband, Bob, in 1952 until his death after over 60 years of marriage. She raised three boys and many of those years were on her own while her husband was deployed. Living in Europe for six years in Germany and Belgium with her family, Lupe enjoyed traveling with a women's bowling league throughout Western Europe. Many of her friends hailed from these different countries. She settling back in Seattle in the early 1970's until moving to Marysville in 1998. She was active in many Seattle Bowling Leagues for years. She also enjoyed her gardens, love of reading and her prize Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Lupe was blessed to have nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren that she cherished. She is also survived by her sons, Bob and his wife Chris, and Jim, both of the Seattle area, her brothers, Adam and Frank and her sister Julie and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Joe, and her brother Bernie. A viewing will be on January 22nd, from 2:00PM to 5:00PM followed by a Rosary at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle. A Funeral Mass will be held on January 23rd at 11:00Am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Lynnwood, WA. Remembrance may be sent in her name to the Parkinson Association.
