

Marjorie Ruth Eaton, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 17th in Seattle, WA. She was born September 18, 1920 in Sheridan Wyoming to Orlando and Ruth Miles. Marjorie was preceded in death by her son, Kevin and sister Eleanor Bevins. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Ray, and son, David of Tacoma, WA and her feline babies, Buffy and Sassy. She leaves behind numerous extended family members and loving friends.
Ray and Marjorie started their love story in 1950 when they met in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. During the Korean War when they both served in the US Navy. They instantly fell in love and married on December 15, 1950. Their Naval career moved them to Washington DC, Germany and finally Great Lakes, Illinois. Upon retirement in 1961 they relocated to Seattle where they raised two young sons.
They enjoyed many years of extensive travels including Europe, the British Isles, Hawaii, and numerous cruises. They always were each others best friends and greatest companions.They reach their milestone 60th Wedding Anniversary on December 15, 2010.
Marjorie was an avid cat lover. She begged Ray daily to get a new kitty. Her heart always sided with the animals.
We will always be thankful for her smiling face, her warm heart and her generous spirit. She always put a smile on everyone's face when she entered the room. We will go on with life but life will never be the same without her.
