Damn Mike.....  I remember your sly humor and skillful touch keeping the electrons running smooth while at the CC.  Miss you my friend.

I knew Mike via the Seattle ACS team, and like so many, appreciated his friendly manner and leadership demonstrated during annual field day events and other activities.  So sad to hear of his passing. My condolences to family and friends. de Jonathan, KK7PW 

I got to know Mike through the ACS and his role as co-ordinator of the Monday night Net Control operators. I will miss him always being the first person to check in on the net. He was one of those people who turned up and participated.

I only knew Mike through amateur radio and through Seattle's Auxiliary Communications Service (ACS).  I especially remember Mike during our Field Day exercises.  He was always on site greeting everyone, making sure everyone felt welcome.  Mike was gentle and easy going but always seemed to be around to lend a hand or to answer questions about amateur radio. Mike was a friend to everyone! I am very sorry he is no longer here with us....

Mike is truly missed. I met him through the Medical Services Team, and worked with him at the Seattle-King County Clinic. In addition to his great technical skill and tireless dedication to ham radio, he had a great sense of humor and was a reassuring presence when things got difficult. He was always there, ready to help. My thoughts are with you in this time of sorrow.

Mike's passing is way too premature ... what a wonderful guy to work with.  He was selfless in his support of the Seattle - King County Clinic, always there in the radio room from 5:00 am to 6:00 every day, filling in whenever he was needed.  His energy will be sorely missed by all in the ham radio community, but he was also just a great guy with a kind, wonderful sense of humor.  He was never angry, never curt and always a pleasure to be around.  His passing leaves a big hole in several organizations, not to mention many lives.  

Mike was a great leader and advocate for our team (the MST), and always carried a sense of enthusiasm and pride to serve his community. He was, and is, an inspiration to me in his seemingly endless optimism and dedication to helping others. I am so grateful to have known and worked with him. My sincerest condolences to his loved ones, and to the many that I know will feel this great loss.

I've only been with ACS a few years also, and Mike was always around as a leader and an enthusiastic team member. He was so professional and skilled, his absence will be keenly felt. I am so sorry for your tragic loss. 

My heart goes out to Apryl and  the Maloy family and friends of Mike in your time of sorrow. I know Mike has left you with many precious memories from his 58 way too short years with us.  When death robs us of someone we love very much, it causes much sadness and grief.    Our loving heavenly Father,  "Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit."        (Psalm 34:18)  Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again.   Revelations 21: 4 says:  "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore."   The family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences.   

Mike you were a good friend and one of the best people at the Crisis Clinic. It was a privilege working with you over so many years. Your contribution to what the clinic did is beyond  measure. My heart broke when I heard the news. It was too soon friend. Wherever you are RIP, And my prayers are with all your loved ones in this very difficult hour. 

I've known Mike for only a few years as part of the Seattle ACS team. I went looking through my photos of Field Day events, and yes, he's there, in his official green vest, always with his back to the camera. He was always taking his task of keeping us safe and secure very seriously. The last time I heard his voice over the airwaves, he was keeping an eye on folks doing some installation work on top of a tall building.  We'll miss him, his ready smile, his sense of humor, his willingness to help out and his care and attention.

I have known Mike as a result of volunteering at Seattle ACS for several years and at the Medical Services Team.  He was a great mentor and teacher and leader who took on numerous responsibilities and asked for nothing in return.  Mike's service to his community was amazing and inspiring.  At the same time, he was so friendly, witty, charming, and personable - and always had a nice thing to say about you or others.  I and everyone who worked with Mike will miss him tremendously.  My sincere sympathy to his family.

I worked with Mike in Seattle ACS. He was a leader, a mentor, a person with heartfelt sincerity in the professional and volunteer work he did to make our City a better place for everyone. Mike was my uncle he's been a huge part of my life...my whole life I can't imagine this world without him...I know he's up in heaven taking care of my son...I love you sooo much uncle mike...rest easy xoxo 

Mike's passing is a tremendous loss for all who loved him. He was a kind and generous man who was well liked by all who knew him. Peace love and light.

Mike was my nephew, friend and supporter. He was one of the original contributors to the mission program of Voices of Hope in Malawi, Africa. Voices of Hope is planning a permanent memorial for him at the medical clinic being built at the mission compound. He was a selfless supporter of those in need. This was one of the last photos I took of Mike in my professional setting, but he continued to stop by to say hi. He always had this smile on his face! 

I had the all-too-brief privilege of volunteering with Mike with the Seattle Auxiliary Communications Service. His positive and friendly nature were, I'm certain, a big factor in helping bring others into the ACS fold. His dedication to making a difference in meaningful ways was admirable. I, and my fellow ham radio operator volunteers, will miss him tremendously.
