

Miguela Guarin Tamayo, beloved mother to 5 children, 1 adopted daughter, 17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren was born in Buenlag, Philippines in 1919 to José Guarin and Adriana Untalan.
Throughout her life, Miguela enjoyed singing, playing piano, sewing many projects, thrifting, and spending time with her family. She loved going on daily walks, cooking for her family, and most of all, praying, enriching her very devout Catholic faith. She was a devoted mother to a total of 8 children, but raised 5 to adulthood. Miguela took special joy in the big and little sacrifices made for her loved ones. She became a young widow at the age of 35, and managed to raise amazing successful children, not to mention also help the upbringing of her grandchildren, and great grandchildren when she was able.
We remember her taking note of her medical records by hand, stretching and exercising everyday, making hand made gifts for all her doctors, being an avid Seattle Mariners fan, and having one of the most beautiful smiles on earth.
Miguela lived a full life at 106 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Narciso, and half of her children, Rogelio, Tito, Narding, and Violeta. She is survived by her remaining children Serafin, Gerardo, Elena, and now the late Jovito, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives and her entire family.
