Bob served in the U.S. Navy, and had enjoyed his retirement years, being care taker for old friends & owners of Rod's Resort in Copalis. Bob enjoyed the Ocean so it was just a natural place for him to live out his retirement years, doing the things he loved most. He loved visiting with friends at the Casino, fishing and of course the Ocean. His wife Virginia preceded him in death, however he is survived by his son Robert W. Miller, wife Lori and his Grandson Robby of Friday Harbor, Daughter Georgia Riley, husband Carl of Marysville, Grandson Michael Edwards, wife Angela and Great Granddaughter Brianna of Marysville, Grandson Marcus Edwards partner Jessee Skittrall and Collin-Celina & Noah of Lake Stevens, Granddaughter Michelle Edwards of Marysville. He also leaves behind a multitude of friends and his little dog Patches.
