Born and raised in Seattle, Rena lived a life full of love, laughter, and purpose. She was born with Down syndrome, but that never held her back. If anything, it made her spirit shine even brighter. Rena faced life with determination, kindness, and a joyful heart that touched everyone she met.
Rena was a dedicated and hardworking woman. Whether she was helping out at a local bakery, folding clothing with pride, or keeping things tidy, she brought care and positivity to every task. She took her responsibilities seriously—and always with a smile.
She had a passion for sports, especially the Seattle Seahawks. On game days, she wore her Seahawks jersey, waved her 12th Man flag, and cheered like the most devoted fan in the stadium. Whether playing or watching, sports brought her immense joy and connection.
She had a way of lighting up every gathering and made friends wherever she went. Her laugh was contagious, and her hugs unforgettable.
Rena is survived by her loving family, and many friends. She was a gift to all of us, a reminder to live fully, love deeply, and celebrate the small things.
