August 30, 1936 - October 22, 2017
A wonderful guy lost his battle with lung cancer. Dick was born in Spokane, Washington and graduated from Lewis & Clark High School, Class of 1955.
He was proud to have served with the 142D Fighter Wing of the Air National Guard. A long time West Seattle resident, Dick's time as Cub Master of Pack 272, Arbor Heights during the 1970's gave him and his sons many happy memories.
Having a private pilots license allowed him to join the Civil Air Patrol, reaching the rank of Captain and participating in several search and rescue missions. He also belonged to the King County Sheriff "Sunset Patrol" providing eyes in the sky over Puget Sound for any watercraft emergency.
For the past 29 years, Dick owned Cameron Marketing Company which sold and installed residential doors, windows and garage doors. Another phase of his business was as a Certified Consultant for Sage DacEasy & Peachtree Accounting Software. His connection to the other consultants across America was very important to him.
He leaves his wife LaVonne and sons, Michael, Rick (Gina) and Brian (Linda). Grandchildren Andrew, Tony, Francesca, Sean, Bethany (Kohl) and Kyle. Two brothers, Lani, Deryl (Mary) as well as cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends.
