I am deeply sorry for you loss, Bruce and family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am glad that my brother, Marty was able to be there in our stead.

Richard was one of the most enthusiastic coders I've known. The only thing he seemed more passionate about was his family. He really loved them, and was never away from them in his thoughts. He was always telling stories about his daughter when in San Francisco for work. A hard-working devoted father and husband--achievements we all aspire to.

Thanks for showing us how it's done, Richard. We'll miss you.

To the family and friends of Richard, I am so sorry for your loss.  I have a son very close to the same age, and I cannot imagine how painful this must be for you.  I do know that during difficult times I have gotten strength and comfort from the scriptures, particularly the book of Psalms 34:18, which reads: "Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heard; And those who are crushed in spirit he saves."
