Bob was the friendliest mailman in the Seattle area for 31 years. Then he was a security guard for 12 years. Bob was a faithful provider for his family all throughout the years. Bob enjoyed time with his wife going to church, day trips around the Northwest and their last trip together was an Alaskan Cruise. He also enjoyed time with his kids and grand kids, what meant the most to him was sharing a delicious meal and fellowshipping with them. Starbucks was his home away from home, he brightened the lives of people there building lifelong friendships. Bob loved the sea, ferry and beaches, lots of memories were made around these places. He loved reading the Bible and books about the Bible. He had a great knowledge of God's word and US History and he enjoyed sharing it with others. Bob's first passion was Jesus Christ, his relationship with Him and wanting others to know Him personally. Behind closed doors Bob was a prayer warrior, from the time he was saved as a teenager to the end of his life his family would catch him on his knees praying all though the night and he would also lead his family in prayer. He was an example of a man who walked by faith empowered by the Holy Spirit to go through life from a position of victory no matter what life brought. Bob and Barb were passionate for the Missionaries they supported and the work at Philadelphia Church. The Body of Believers from Philadelphia brought him much comfort and support and were a great highlight and joy in his life. Bob could be described in one word, KINDNESS, anybody that knew him could say that he was the most happy, kind, loving and encouraging person no matter what he was going through. He always had a smile on his face and was concerned with how you were doing. Bob brought much laughter to everyone in his world. He was also famous for his sweet tooth and it brought him much joy and satisfaction to enjoy his chocolate and lemon treats with others.
