

Ruth-Ann married James Arlo Matthias on July 3rd 1963 at Beacon Lutheran church were both were active members.
Ruth-Ann was a dedicated homemaker to four children. She absolutely loved working with children whether it be at church teaching bible classes, vacation bible school, daycares, or as a volunteer and very active member of Girl Scouts of America. She went back to school later in life and graduated with an AA degree from Highline community college. She was also a member of the choir singing, playing piano, and guitar. She loved going to the Seattle thunderbirds hockey games and would go on road trips to watch the team play all over the US and Canada, also a big supporter of the Seattle Storm.
Ruth-Ann always had a smile on her face and a warm and giving heart. She always remembered friends and family birthdays and anniversaries. Christmas was her favorite time of year and spent many many many hours wrapping gifts, writing cards, decorating, and driving around giving out presents.
She was preceded in death by husband James of 55yrs and daughter Bonita. She is survived by daughters Barbara, Dorothy, son Daniel, daughter in law Amy, and grandchildren Anthony & Ciarra.
A graveside service for Ruth-Ann will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Evergreen Memorial Park, Seattle.
