Samuel Joseph McCULLY "Sammy", Samuel Joseph McCully,a beloved son, brother, nephew and uncle, the absolute joy of our family, died in his home September 23rd, 2011. He was born October 25th, 1984 in Portsmouth, Va. He was 26.

Sam lit up our hearts and lives like no other. Everyone that knew him enjoyed his company and loved him. He was funny, smart, generous and so kind. He embraced life, wrapped his arms around it and squeezed out everything he could. He loved his family and friends. He adored his brother Kelsey, niece Ashton and his Aunt Dee. He amazed his father with his brilliance he, with the way he wasn't afraid to be who he was. He was his mothers best friend. We take so much comfort in knowing how happy Sam was and how loved he is. We are so happy Sam had found his 'Agreeable' Girl' in his girlfriend, Shelby Aos. We have been overwhelmed by the support of Sam's best friends, Ron Leviton, Torrey Larsen, and Tim Moore. This is what we will hold on to. To have that love and joy for 26 years has made us better people, it was golden. We appreciate and cherish that.

Sam will be so missed. We will think of him, always pushing up the hill for the thrill of it. Never looking down. Always in awe of what's in front of him. Sam is survived by his parents, Rob and Joanie, his brother Kelsey, niece Ashton and family across the country.
