My heart is sorely broken. Shane was one of my best friends and like a Son to me. He had been there for me over the past 3 years since loosing my son Chad; caring, sharing and helping when he could. Shane was a wonderful young man with such a bright future ahead of him. He never hesitated to help out when help was needed. His wonderful sense of humor was always a delight to witness even though I often times had to put on a serious face in spite of his jokes. It always made him laugh even harder when he thought he had struck a nerve. I smile even now thinking about those moments. Shane and his brother Travis were my Son's best friends. I shall miss him so very much and now only pray that our Lord and Savior can forgive him and he can at last once again be with his friend Chad.
Shane, you were my inspiration, my strength and I appreciated you more than words will ever express.
I love you and will miss you terribly.

At times like these there are no words that discribe the lost of a friend.  Shane was my son's Chris  best friend.  Shane had the brighest smile I have ever seen. After the lost of my husband a year ago, when Shane came over our house he always had a words for me before he saw my son. I will surely miss Shane.

Words cannot describe the loss I feel with Shane's passing. He could make me laugh without having to say a word, and throughout our life together he was always there when I needed him. He was my little brother, and he will always be with me.

Although I hadn't seen Shane in years, my heart aches knowing that he is gone.  I always loved hearing him tell stories of his adventures--tall tales of the monster fish that got away, or whatever other adventure he had recently experienced.  He was the best story teller.  With a twinkle in his eyes and a mischievous grin, he would act out his stories with wild eyes and expressive gestures.  He made me laugh and laugh.  I will never forget that sparkle in his eyes.

My heart goes out to Gina and Travis, and so many others that loved Shane.

We are devastated at losing Shane, he was such a funny and loving guy.  Every time he was around he had us laughing.  Life has lost some of the luster without Shane..  We will always remember his sense of humor, how he could light up a room just by being in it. We will keep the family that is left behind in our thoughts and prayers.  We will miss you Shane.

Words cannot describe our shock and sense of loss upon hearing of Shane's passing. Our staff felt that Shane was part of our family too and experienced a sense of loss when the time came for him to pursue new horizons. 

It was impossible not to like Shane with his gentle manner, clever sense of wry humor and sincere concern for his clients, friends and family. Although the mortal world has lost a wonderful young man, we hope that there is another new horizon with a rising Sun out there for Shane.

I met Shane through my son, Chris, many years ago.  They were the best of friends.  The three of us went on a fishing trip to eastern Washington.  During the trip over the Cascades, Shane told us tales of fishing in the rivers and lakes of his home state, Montana.  By the time we got to our destination he had me convinced he was the greatest fisherman that ever lived.

The truth of the matter is that Shane had the worst luck when it came to fishing.  We used the same lures and fished in the same areas, but Shane could not get a bite.  He never got discouraged or upset, but kept a positive attitude and joked about his misfortune.  I canâ€™t remember if he caught any fish on that trip, but I am certain he truly enjoyed himself.

Since then, whenever I met Shane, we would always joke about his skill as a fisherman.  He would insist that the next time we went fishing; he would catch all of the fish.

Last month, the three of us went out again.  This time we were after salmon in the Snohomish River.  Chris and Travis, Shaneâ€™s brother, fished there a few days before and caught limits.  We were bound to catch fish.  

As we drove to the river, Shane was upbeat and described how he was going to smoke his catch.  When we got to the river the salmon were everywhere.  They were jumping and splashing all along the river.  They swam through the shallows with their backs and tails completely out of the water.  What a day this would be.

Chris and I were catching fish, but once again Shaneâ€™s luck was absent.  Chris gave Shane the same lures we were using, but to no avail.  But Shane remained optimistic.  He knew he would be smoking some salmon soon.  When the fishing got slow, Shane took a nap.  On the way home, he talked about our first fishing trip to eastern Washington and what a great time he had had.  He said we should do it again sometime.

I was looking forward to that trip and I am deeply saddened that Shane will not be going with us.  I really wanted to see him catch some fish.

I will remember Shane as a bright young man, full of wit and humor, and I will miss him always.

My thoughts and condolences to Shane's friends and family

I grew up across the street from Shane.  I remember throwing snowballs at him, setting off firecrackers and hoping we wouldn't light his backyard on fire, getting hit by his waterballoons, riding our bikes past the boundaries our moms had set, hiding with Tasha when he tried to tease us . . . but mostly I remember having fun whenever he was around.  He and Travis were like my older brothers when I was little.  My heart aches for this tremendous loss.  He was a bright light, and he will be missed.

On behalf of my Family, I would like to extend heartfelt condolences to Tanya and Family on the death of her brother Shane.  May his soul rest in perfect peace.

I was deeply saddened when I got the news from his brother Travis; it was like I lost a family member. Shane and Travis are my closest friends, more like brothers to me. We can talk about anything thatâ€™s going on in our lives without holding anything back. We can vent our problems each other and lend an ear in times of need, always having the time for each other.

Shane could always cheer a person up when they're feeling down with his stories and goofy actions. he was a great story teller, comedian and always livened up the room with laughter. He was always very caring and would do everything that he could to help one out of a bind and never asking anything in return. 

I loved fishing and hunting with him, he was always sure that he was going to be the one with the best catch. If he could fish half as well as his trash talking he would be the best fisherman. Even though his skills as a fisherman weren't the best he would never give up and would trash talk you all the way 'til the end. Then he would give you a reason why he let you win.

The night before i left the states we hung out at my house drinking. I had an early flight but that didn't stop him from getting drunk with me and talking until 2:30 in the morning. He was so excited about my trip, I almost couldn't wait to tell him stories of the trip. When Travis told me the untimely passing of his brother my heart sank and I felt that there was no reason for collecting stories anymore.

It was my pleasure to have known him he was truly a great person with big heart, a true friend, my best friend. I will miss Shane for the rest of my life. The fishing and hunting trips will never be the same without Shane. 

My heart goes out to his family I only wish I could be there for them in their time of need.

I will miss Shane's friendship, his kindness and his marvelous sense of humour.  I knew him as a good man and his left us much too soon.  My sincere condolences to all his family.

I am lost for words when it comes to something like this......Shane was the most kindness and open-hearted person that I have ever known. I will never forget him and I will never forget the great memories that I hold inside. I can remember this one time on a trip to Puyallup fair, he was driving behind all of us and then suddenly he had rearended Roy who then rearended Yvette. It was a picture perfect sight seeing them guys lifting his Cadillac off of Roys vehicle. :  Hey, did we ever find out what was so interesting? I know you guys who were there will remember that one! I will always remember...Until we meet again at the carnival in the sky.

Our fondness memories of Shane that we will never forget is our family get together for dinners.The times when we all went fishing the kids loved it he made them happy.The hours we spent at the house and our kids played video games with him and got him hooked on that starwars game for three days.But most of all when he would randomly call me at work disguising his voice but i would catch'em on it and we would laugh like crazy.At times him and i would have our one hour long conversations on the phone of just about everything he needed to let out and i needed to let out, he would tell me hes' got good ears.We've got to boss each other around pretty good.I'm glad i was there for him and that he was there for me.Last time i had one of our long conversation was monday the 7th i listend to him talk for at least an hour and at the end he thanked me for listening.I'm glad i got to thank him back.His devilish smile that comes with that mischievous laughter will forever remaine in our memory of him.My parents thanks you and will miss you very much they are glad to have known you.Death is such a sad sorrow theres no words to describe it or to express.We Love You, may you rest in peace.

Shane was a brother, pal, one of the greatest friends & a wonderful real estate agent. The man helped sell anything & got top dollar never without numerous hassel's but with no complaints. He helped me & my family anytime & in anyway. He was our main man. He sold & bought everything we have owned. He was so much fun. We fished a lot whether it was in Montana Shane's home state washington or Neah Bay, it was always a joy and a story the big one that got away for that was the way he was. I always looked forward to the next trip for a new story. 
Shane, I will alwasy throw a pole in for you. God bless you & see you in the next life...

Shane, first fish this year is for you.

My Friend, though I know you won't be with me in body your spirit will be with me always.  May the Lord hold you in his arms 'til we meet again.  May there be fair weather, flowing seas and plentyful fish as you begin your new journey.  I will miss you and the fun times we shared.  My condolences to your family, may you find peace.

I will miss him greatly. I still tell people stories of the things we did. My favorite is when we mooned the seafair clowns after work one day at Seattle Center.

i miss you!  i think of you everyday.  there are so many things i need to say and so many things i need to hear... but i understand.. i'm sorry i wasn't there for you this time like all the other times.. i remember you saying to me from time to time, that you weren't made for this world.. and i have always agreed.. i hope you're at peace now.

I was just sent this obituary today and I can barely believe it.  From the day I met Shane at Prudential we have been friends.  I am deeply sorry and I wish the best for all of you.  I hope it is not impolite of me to ask what happened.  Regardless Shane was probably the most generous person I've ever met and I am going to miss him.  Take care.

Shane,  In my prayers for you and your family I will miss you.  I wish the hands of time could be stopped by me and others alike; to reverse what cannot be undone. There is soooo much to say about Shane doggy... he was always there for everyone he knew when they needed it in any way. If he could help, he would. I just cant beleive hes gone. There wasnt one time he didnt make me laugh when i was around him. Working with him and everyone else down at the Seattle Center was the funnest time in my life so far! May God bless Shane, Gina, Zoe, Travis and all the friends and family that had the opportunity to know Shane!

shana dog will be sorely missed. He srue had a way to make everyone laught. he would go to great lanthes to help friends. I will miss him dearly. he was a good friend. I always thought he would always be there. I remember when he would come over to the Joe's. I'd say "shane's here" then all the little kids would come running,it souned like a stamped, he was  their big brother. we will still love himand never forget him.
