At 55 years old, he passed away after a lengthy illness in Seattle, WA on February 2, 2001. He was born on September 9, 1945 in Hartford, CT. Tom has resided in Woodinville, WA since 1976. Tom?s interests varied from vintage Studebakers to extensive traveling. He loved animals and had several including dogs, ferrets and birds. In his younger days, Tom was an Eagle Scout. He graduated from N. Syracuse High School and attended GMI in Flint, MI and received a BS from Syracuse University. Tom was a devoted family man and is survived by his wife of 33 years, Diane Linda Robarge; son, James E. Papworth; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Jim Riley; father, James E. Papworth; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and James Smallman; Uncle Hugh Papworth and Aunt Dorothy Bliss. A celebration of Tom?s life will be held on Friday, 2/9/2001 at 6:00 p.m. at Bothell Funeral Home 18224 103rd Ave. NE, Bothell, WA.
