Tyler was born in Seattle, Washington on July 8, 1972 to Jim Greer and Linda Eckhart (formerly Greer). He was a happy baby and a proud big brother to Travis, born just two and a half years later. Tyler was a busy boy playing baseball, basketball and soccer. Growing up in Lake Washington's Sheridan Beach neighborhood was an idyllic setting for any child. Tyler, Travis and their friends spent much time swimming in the lake, boating, and water-skiing. Tyler even had a Seattle Times paper route and was often 'assisted' by the family cocker spaniel, Sophie. His early years were highlighted by boat trips to Roche Harbor and visiting Grandma and Grandpa Greer in Hawaii. In fact, it was on a boat trip to the Wallace Island where Tyler first got "hooked" on the sport of fishing.
Tyler attended Lake Forest Park Elementary, Kellogg Middle School and Shorecrest High School. Later, Tyler attended Lake Washington Technical College and received his certification as an RV technician. He worked at Roy Robinson RV, where he considered his co-workers his second family.
Tyler is survived by his Father, Jim Greer, mother, Linda Eckhart, Brother, Travis Greer, and his beloved cocker spaniel, Bailey.
