

Wallace H. "Wally" Wickland, 95, of Bothell, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. He was born December 4, 1921 in Great Falls, Montana. Wally married Lois E. McAllister on March 14, 1942 in Seattle, WA. He was a member of the Canyon Hills Community Church. Wally was a United States Navy veteran of WWII, serving on the USS Craven (DD-382). He always referred to the USS Craven as "the ship that won the war". Wally loved spending time with his family and enjoyed camping, doing yard work and attending the USS Craven reunions. He is survived by his wife of 75 years; his daughter, Cheri Rorvick and husband Mike; two sons, Stephen Wickland and wife Connie and David Wickland and wife Paula; ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and six great great-grandchildren. Wally was preceded in death by his brother, William. A memorial service with military honors accorded by the United States Navy will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 24, 2017 at Canyon Hills Community Church, 22027 17th Avenue SE, Bothell, WA 98021.
