Walter Howard Ed Nation, Jr., 61 of Snohomish, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014. He was born June 15, 1952 in Austin, TX, the son of the late Walter Howard and Freda (Yarbrough) Nation. Ed married Linda Irene McKown on November 22, 1990 in Dana Point, CA. He was passionate about music; playing and collecting guitars, was a private pilot and loved all forms of aviation, sailing and traveling. Ed was proud of his service in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and flew on the P3 Orion. He is survived by his wife of 24 years; four children; two step-children, Heather McKown and Kelly Hale; five step-grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica and Mathew Hale, Cassondra and Katherine Stanfield; two brothers, Jack and Earl Albritton and his pets, Valentino, Merlin, Rembrandt and Armani. Ed was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Stiner.
