He retired from Holmes and Narver in 1984 and moved to his favorite city, San Francisco. A huge 49ers and Giants fan, he attended many games at Candlestick. Later, he and Jo Ann moved to Bellevue, WA where he began another career managing capital projects for the Bellevue School District. He managed the renovation of existing school buildings as well as building brand new schools. When his wife Jo Ann became ill, he selflessly cared for her until her death. He enjoyed spending his free time traveling, going to watch the thoroughbreds at Emerald Downs and following his favorite sports teams. He will be remembered for his great generosity.
Warren is survived by his stepchildren Matt (Stephanie) Sandmeyer of Bothell, WA, and Margaret (Drake) Sandmeyer-Dodge of Costa Mesa, CA, his sister Nanci (James) Paulson of Camarillo, and his grandchildren Ryan, Dane and Miles. He is preceded in death by his wife Jo Ann and his parents.
