I miss you so much Dad!!!!! I think about you ALLLLL the time!! I've been able to get some control over my scream crying breakdowns, but it's so hard to do when your heart feels like every nerve is being ripped out and your soul just can't find it's rhythm any longer. I would give anything to hug you one more time, kiss your forehead and hear your voice....  

This year, as you're having your first Thanksgiving in Heaven dinner with my husband, please don't stop making him laugh! That was one of the most treasured characteristics about you that I always admired (and hope I inherited a bit of), your sense of humor and deep soul seeded need to see the people around you happy. Come hell or high water, if they weren't happy and laughing, you were gonna change that with the most sincere intent! 

Happy Thanksgiving Dad! I am forever thankful God picked the perfect Dad for me, you!!! I miss you more than I can ever articulate! I love you Dad!! 

I've visited this page about 100 times and still cannot accept that your name and birthday is listed here. Something I've never wanted to see.

I thought I had already gone through the painful loss an adult can go through, until I confirmed through this site what I hoped wasn't true. I break into pieces over and over everyday over the what ifs and the left unsaids, but knowing you, you would just stop me and say "it's gonna be okay. We will figure it out..." 

I see your name all day, everyday, on my arm and sometimes it breaks me down and other times it makes me smile to remember your laugh, the smell of your flannel jackets when i hugged you, the way you tucked one hand under your arm when you smoked with the other and your smokers cough. 

I'm sorry Dad! I miss you! I am so angry at myself, my pride and ego, so you no longer have to be. Thank you for being the most forgiving and giving Dad! I love you! I hope you know that! 

Too my brother BILLY  I'm so glad I made the trip to Seattle to see you one last time.  You will be greatly missed as you were greatly loved.
I'll miss your joking personality and your caring voice of always telling me to make sure I took care of myself.
I'm having so many emotions over your death the only since of piece is knowing you are with our parents and siblings.

Em and family,  May God comfort you at this time.  Bill was a wonderful Man full of love for his family, friends and life.  The humor that he possessed was contagious. Never a dull moment when Bill was around.  Remembering all the fabulous BBQ we had. Holidays spent together, celebrating our kid's b-day. Rummage sale we had where Bill would  be standing out yelling " step right to Bill's blow out bargain sale"  will forever be cherished memories I hold  in my heart. Bill was our custodian at Lake Hills Elem. school in Bellevue. We would banter back and forth.  Bill every day would say to me, "Comb your hair!!"" Vicki get it under control" and" It's always sunny at Lake Hills!'  Bill always talked about his family. The good, bad or the ugly. Loved the family pictures that he would whip out of his wallet and shared with me. He was very proud of his family. Oh and how he would talk about his wife, The Boss.  He loved, loved, loved his family!
He always had my back. He made me smile and or laugh every day! Some of us at LH loved getting phone calls from Bill after he retired. We were just talking about him the Friday before he passed! Cried my little eyes out when we found out about his passing.  
I've been praying for the family to give them strength to carry on with out Bill. 
I will see (and meet) you all on Saturday!
