Our cousin, Dale, called and let me know of Wynne Rae's death. I have no memories without her. Our mothers' lived together during WWII and we were all reared in Columbus, Montana. Wynne was a wonderful cousin and she will be missed by the Bergland clan. Condolences to you, Gordon and all of your children.

Wynne is Dale's first cousin - his dad Erland Bergland being the older brother of Wynne's mom, Gwen.  Sherry is his wife and Kristi their daughter.  When Gwen was in beauty school in Billings, wynne came to stay with Dale, Alice and Erland on the farm in Hettinger, ND. The Berglands raised shetland ponies and gave one to Wynne as a gift. Dale remembers her as a sweet, cute little girl.  Through the years they would stop in Columbus and Bozeman to visit.  Kristi remembers taking grandpa Erland to Seattle and having such a great visit with Wynne, sharing career stories in education.  She also remembers the wonderful care Wynne provided for Gwen during her later years in Seattle.  We were saddened to hear of her passing.  She was a very special cousin and will be missed greatly.

Although I've only known Wynne for a couple of years I feel blessed by her presence in my life. We were both "Montana girls", and I will always remember our coffee get togethers. She really was such an inspiration!! So smart, and funny, and dear. I will miss hearing about her children and grandchildren. She loved them all so much, and would just light up when talking about them. My heart goes out to her family and friends in their loss, as they celebrate an amazing woman. I will miss her too......

I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I have so many fond memories of "Mom-person" - she was such an  important role model in my life, a Mom to me in every way when mine wasn't. She was very special & I know her passing will leave a great void in your lives. Thinking of you both, along with your families. Though it has been many, many years since we've connected, it seems just yesterday. All the best during this difficult time.

I'm so very sorry to hear of the passing of Ms. Estes.  She was a teacher of mine in elementary school some 25 years ago.  Few teachers have the ability to grab a child's attention and imagination and inspire them the way she did.  She was tough as nails and expected a lot from her students, but it made us work harder because we knew she believed in us.  

Though I hadn't seen her since grade school, I have never forgotten her.

Wynne was one of the first of many wonderful mentors and colleagues in the Northshore Schools when I started my career 35 years ago.  Wynne's boundless energy, humor, and exceptional commitments shaped my career and the good work of educating kids.  Peace, Wynne.

It seems like we have known the two you forever and we know she will always be with you in your memories as well as our own.  We will all miss her.

My heart to yours.  I'm so sorry for your loss of our dear Wynne.  She had such sparkle and joy and shared it willingly and freely with others.  She gave much to many and those gifts continue over time.  Treasure your memories of a lovely woman who modeled a positive life for all of us.  My heartfelt love and caring to you. 

I was sad to see the notice in todays paper of her passing. Wynne was my 6th grade teacher at Moorlands Elementary in 1969/70. She was a big influence in my young educational years and I would often stop by and see her at Moorlands for many years later. The Northshore School District has lost a wonderful teacher. 

A special lady who made a difference to many.  A life well lived.

Wynne brought so many gifts to our life. I so enjoyed working with her and learning from her while at Northshore. I will never forget her! 

Wishing Wynne's family peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.

Wynne was my mom Donna's cousin and my second cousin. I have such fond memories of hanging out with Wynne Rae and Pam in Gwen's beauty salon. Oh, the do's they created on a young child. Wynne's love and commitment to education inspired and awed me as a child. It took me a long time to get to that calling myself, but I thought of her and her legacy so many, many times. 

My mom and I send our deepest condolences to all of the family. May you each find peace in the fond memories of your sister, wife, mom, and grandma. Love to all.

We wanted you to know that we spent time reminiscing about her and you both (and your family) are in our thoughts and prayers.
