He is survived by his sister, Lucy Hoekwater of McBain, MI; daughter, Mary Ellen Bailey of Whitehouse, OH; son, Daryl Lipp of McQueeney, TX; grandchildren: Beverly, Christine, Beth, Holly, Paul, and Zachary; and numerous great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 9th, at Faith Lutheran Church in Seguin, TX.
