Herman Paul Haake

Herman Paul Haake passed away peacefully on March 15th 2011 in Austin Texas at Hospice of Austin Christopher House. He was surrounded by his family. He was 80 years old. He was born on February 18, 1931 in Germantown IL. to Bernard and Elizabeth (Gross) Haake. He was married to Agatha Bustos on December 17th 1953 in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

He is survived by his daughter Anita Coker (husband Robert) , and sons Paul Haake (wife Paula) and Phillip Haake (wife Melody), his grandchildren, Sarah Coker, Phillip Haake and Candice Haake. He is also survived by his sisters, Selma Wuebbles, Marylin Holtmann (husband Ralph), and Lorraine Hemann (husband Lavern). He is preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Cecilia Haake, wife Agatha Haake, older brother Bernard H. “Smiley” Haake, and brother-in-law Wilson Wuebbles.

Visitation will be held in the front stateroom of Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin, TX from 5-9 pm on Tuesday, March 22nd. A rosary service will commence at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, with a funeral mass following at 11:30 am on Wednesday, March 23rd. Interment will be at San Geronimo Cemetery.
