Lina DeLeon Saldana

Lina passed away surrounded by her loving family at Remarkable Care in Seguin, TX on Monday, April 28, 2014. She was 85 years old.

Lina was born to Severo & Oltilia (Morin) DeLeon September 23, 1928 in Seguin Texas. She grew up in Seguin and married Eugene Saldana in 1957.

Lina leaves behind her husband Eugene Saldana; sons Juan I. Saldana and his wife Lucy, Henry Saldana, Gene Saldana and his wife Rose Guel, Roy Saldana and his wife Elizabeth as well as her daughter Sylvia Saldana and her significant other Herbey Gonzalez. She will also be missed by her 19 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to call upon the family on Wednesday, April l 29, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Goetz Funeral Home. Rosary services will follow at 7:00 PM also at Goetz.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church 510 South Camp Street Seguin, Texas at 10:00 on Thursday, May 1, 2014 with interment following at St. James Catholic Cemetery in Seguin.

Pallbearers are David Carcuro Saldana, Henry Saldana Jr., Jesus, Medrano Jr., Marcos Eugene Medrano, Roy Francisco Saldana, and Roy Saldana. Honorary Pallbearers; Brandon Saldana, and Matthew P. Saldana.
