Mary "Tia Mary" Fuentes Solis

Mary Fuentes Solis “Tia Mary” passed away on Monday May 2, 2011 at the age of 75. She was born in Seguin to Fernando and Pauline Fuentes. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Marciano Fuentes and a sister Ernestina Sherman.

Mary is survived by her daughter Maria White and husband Patton, her son Moises Solis Jr. and wife Stacie, seven grandchildren: Christian, Cameron and Cory White, Zackary, Aaron, Austin and Derek Solis; sisters Odelia Hernandez and Lola Vidaurri and husband Jesse;, brother Fernando Fuentes, Jr; ex-husband Moises Solis Sr. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary had a big heart and was loving to all. She never turned away anyone in need. She was known to all as Tia Mary. Mary was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church where she was a member of the Guadalupana Prayer Group. She loved her Cowboys and never missed a Spurs game. Thank you Tia Mary for keeping us in line. We love you and will miss you always.
