Vivian Latimer Ebert

Vivian Marie Latimer Ebert passed away peacefully on Saturday December 12, 2015 at the Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin at the age of 94. She was born in Homewood Township in Kansas on November 8, 1921 to Ralph and Nellie (Gay) Latimer. Vivian loved her family even though she often gave them a hard time, and loved to attend church at First Baptist church in Seguin, but her passion was wrestling. She would never miss a televised bout and would travel to Corpus Christi to join in the fever of a live match.

Friends and family are invited for calling hours on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 4:30 to 7:30 pm at Goetz Funeral Home, 713 N. Austin St. Seguin. A Graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, December 16th at Guadalupe Valley memorial park 2951 State Hwy 46 South in New Braunfels, Texas officiated by Rev. Dr. Brice Mandaville.

Vivan married Lee Jay H. Ebert on January 8, 1956 and together they raised their family and built, owned and operated the Robo-Wash in Seguin. Lee Jay Ebert passed away on March 6, 2004. To say Vivian was spunky was an understatement. Her energy would have her playing cards, watching wrestling, crocheting, playing bingo and reading her bible. She was strong and kept fit by walking the halls of her care facility six or more times a day.

Vivian is survived by her daughters Yvonne Heard and her husband Bruce, Dianne Merz and her husband Kenny, her three granddaughters Casey Fischer and her husband Matt, Shannon Merz and Erin Hand and her husband Jason. She will also be remembered by her five great Grandchildren; Skyler, Haylee, Ally, Easton, Chesney and many nieces and nephews.
