Antigone is survived by her brother, George Vrahiolias who resides in Greece, Nephews, Nieces, and God children. She is reunited in heaven with her Mother, Father, Sisters, and Brother-in laws.
Antigone was incredibly kind, generous, funny, and compassionate, always thinking of others and putting them before herself. She welcomed all visitors to her home with a smile and a meal to make everyone feel like family. She never missed a chance to celebrate a birthday or holiday; her cookie deliveries will be missed.
She was a hairdresser, realtor, seamstress and a savvy businesswoman. She was a fierce tennis player and loved to participate in the local community garden.
She often spoke of the friends that helped her along the way and was always thankful for their friendship and guidance. Her happy place was her apartment with her amazing waterfront view. Every morning she would sit while having her coffee and wait for the dolphins to come and greet her.
Antigone was loved and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her memory will live within our hearts forever.
A funeral service for Antigone will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at St Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church, 3600 76th ST N, St Petersburg, FL 33710. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Garden Sanctuary Cemetery, 7950 131 Street North, Seminole, FL 33776.
