She graduated from Ladycliff College with a degree in English Literature; received her Master’s from Adelphi University in Elementary Education; and her Doctorate from the University of Virginia in Curriculum and Instruction.
She was a strong woman in her Catholic faith and after teaching in public schools and universities, served as Secretary of Catholic Formation from the Diocese of St. Petersburg. She later served in ministry in Ft. Myers for Church of the Resurrection and most recently at St. Columbkille Catholic Church.
She is survived by three brothers, Ronald, Richard and Kevin, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is very grateful for the love and compassion from her cousin David in caring for her during her illness.
A funeral mass celebrating her life will be held at St. Jerome Catholic Church, located at 10895 Hamlin Blvd. Largo, FL. on September 11, 2021 at 1:00 P.M.
