PRESTON, Betty May, passed on March 29, 2017. Betty was born, Oct. 10, 1935 in Nashville, IN to parents Lola and George Friskey. She married Walter Preston in 1966 and moved to Redington Shores, FL. Betty was a real estate broker, who bought, sold and developed real estate. In the mid-80's, the Prestons purchased Joyland Country Nightclub, Pinellas Park. Through the years they expanded the Joyland name to(4) locations, with sons Jerry and Rick Lambert.
Betty is survived by sister, Dee Dee Coppernol; brother, Bill Friskey; sons, Jerry Lambert and Rick Lambert; daughter-in-law: Stephanie Lambert; grandchildren; Melody Marcotte (Greyson) and Mitchell Lambert; step grandchildren, Rushton Baker and Compton Baker and great grandchildren, Isabeau Marcotte.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Preston on Oct. 30, 2010.
