James David Fitzpatrick

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our father, husband, uncle and brother James, fondly known as Jimmy Fitzpatrick, who left us on December 9, 2024, at the age of 62 in St . Petersburg, FL .

Jimmy was known for his sense of humor, being right, his generosity, strength, unwavering support, and his unconditional love. His family was his pride and joy, and his greatest role in life was being a father and poppy to his babies. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Betty Jean Fitzpatrick and his twin brothers Harold and Darrell Fitzpatrick. He is survived by his wife Leslee Fitzpatrick, his children Shannon Fitzpatrick, Sean Fitzpatrick, Jaime Kladnik, Siobhan Fitzpatrick & Samantha Fitzpatrick. Nine Grandchildren Taylor Fitzpatrick, James Jeremiah (JJ) & Kaylee Fitzpatrick, Maya & Maecy Walsh, Kynzlee Dickinson, Briella & Isabella (Izzy) Smith and Aubrianna Fitzpatrick. Siblings Patricia (Patti) & spouse Michael Rowe, Douglas (Butch) Fitzpatrick, Michelle (Shelby), spouse Bill Pierce. A half sister Crystal Fitzpatrick. He has a ton of cousins, nieces and nephews as this Rhea family was large.

To honor Jimmy's memory, a service will be held at Garden Sanctuary on Saturday, January 4, 2025 his birthday at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Lung Association in Jimmy's name.

A visitation for James will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home, 7950 131 Street North, Seminole, FL 33776, followed by a memorial service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
