NIEMEYER, Marie M., 92, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. She was born in Sidney, Australia, the daughter of Fred and Mabel (Phipps) Walden. Marie came to the United States in 1945 and moved to Florida in 1974. She and her family owned and operated Seminole Art & Frame Center in Seminole, Florida for many years. She was an avid dancer and loved the Jitterbug. She enjoyed nature and animals, often taming the wildlife.
She is survived by her husband, Earl H; sons, Earl W. (Edith) , and Steven R. (Georgie Ramey); a daughter, Donna M. (James E.) Cooley; a brother, Dennis Walden; and grandchildren, Angela Lynn Pluff and Misti Marie Powell.
Visitation held Monday, May 11, 2015 from 1pm until service time at 2pm at Garden Sanctuary Funeral Home in Seminole, FL. Entombment will follow at Garden Sanctuary Cemetery.
