BOOTHROYD, Robert La Vern, 79, He was born February 5, 1931, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 9, 2010. Raised in Rock Island, Illinois, he served in the U.S. Navy for four years before working as an Aeronautical Space Engineer for Honeywell for 35 years. He and his wife of 51 years, Juanita, made their home in Seminole, FL. Together they raised four daughters, Caron, Valerie, Jill, and Robyn. Bob was an avid reader of history books, a gardener with an affinity for growing hibiscus, and a never-ending fountain of love and support for his wife, his “girls” and his grand kids.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, daughters, grandchildren, Jimmy and Jenny, son-in-law Graham, and remaining family and friends.

Visitation 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home Thursday, October 14, 2010. Entombment at Garden Sanctuary Cemetery.
