Robert Donald Epstein

86, of Seminole, Florida, died peacefully on November 19, 2015. Born and raised in Berwyn, Illinois, he earned Order of the Arrow distinction in Eagle Scouts, and then received a Juris Doctor degree from John Marshall Law School. After serving in the US Army, he married Joan, his wife of 60 years. Together they raised their family in Glen Ellyn, Illinois and then relocated to Seminole, Florida in 1972.

Bob owned a commercial real estate brokerage and investment company in both Illinois and Florida.

He enjoyed his golf membership at Lake Seminole Country Club where he shot a hole-in-one on the 16th hole, woodworking, and spending time outside working in his yard.

Bob was deeply grateful for the special friendships with his dear long-time friends and neighbors. In his later years, his greatest joy was his constant canine companion and best friend, Judd.

Bob is survived by his wife, Joan; children, Robert T. (Roxanne) of La Mesa, CA and Jodi J. of Duluth, GA, and three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Olivia, and Joseph.

A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Suncoast Hospice Foundation or S.P.C.A. Tampa Bay.
