

Roseman Burnisee Moss of Seminole, FL., died Friday, May 13, 2011. She was 87. affectionately known to friends and family as "Bunky," she was a native of Woodfin in Buncombe County, NC and lived in Seminole since 1982. She was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church in Clearwater, FL. Bunky was the widow of Robert Moss, who passed away in 1997.
Bunky had been affiliated with the Avon Company during her working career, having won several awards from the company for high sales. She loved growing flowers in her yard, particularly orchids, lilies and bougainvillea. She was also an expert quilter, having completed dozens of quilts employing traditional folk patterns of the North Carolina mountains.
Surviving are three children, Barbara Susan Wilson of Stoneville, NC, Patrick Joseph Moss, of Newton, NC, and Natalie Moss Bond of Saint Petersburg, FL; a sister, Frances Rice of Seminole, FL and Weaverville, NC; a brother, Norman B. Metcalf; her granddaughter, Kaitlyn Moss and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Millie, her devoted Shih-Tzu, whom she loved dearly.
Visitation held 12 noon, Tuesday, May 17, 2011 until service time at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, where interment will follow.
