Sara Cruz Blanco Dubbeld

Sara Cruz Blanco Dubbeld passed away May 1, 2023 at her home in Seminole, Florida.

Sara was born in Barranquilla, Colombia on January 27, 1953, and was the daughter of Rafael Blanco and Anita Blanco, both deceased. She is survived by her two children, Jennifer Cruz Dubbeld and Jon Paul (Michelle Renee) Dubbeld. She was a proud grandmother to three grandchildren, Collin Paul Paolillo, Sofia Cruz Paolillo and Shiloh Nicole Dubbeld. She is survived by six siblings, Rafael W. (Maruchi Azorin) Blanco, Alfonso J. (Martha Luz) Blanco, Ana J. (Arthur J.) Trinque, Marco A. (Brigid L.) Blanco, Jacqueline (Virendra K) Blanco-Khurana and Robert A. (Kelley M.) Blanco. Sara grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, and was a graduate of Northeast High School, Class of 1971. Sara continued her education at St. Petersburg Junior College and graduated from the University of South Florida, Class of 1975. Sara married her high school sweetheart, Paul John Dubbeld, October 23, 1976, who preceded her in death. Sara worked for 30 years at the Bay Pines V.A. Hospital.

Sara will be dearly missed by all that loved her.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11 am on Monday, May 22, 2023 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Holy Family Chapel, 10895 Hamlin Blvd., Largo, FL, 33774. Following her Funeral Mass an inurnment for Sara will be held at Garden Sanctuary Cemetery, 7950 131st Street North, Seminole, FL, 33776.
