A memorial Mass was read for Sequim resident Jeanne Florence Mackenzie, who died Nov. 15, 2011, at the age of 86.
She was born Dec. 25, 1924, in Alhambra, Calif., to Lawrence and Margaret Egan Glassco.
She married Alan Cameron Mackenzie on Sept. 29, 1946.
She graduated from Hoover High School in Glendale, Calif., and the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts.
She and her husband moved to Montana in 1981 and raised Angus cattle and Suffolk sheep on a ranch until they moved to Sequim in 1998.
She is survived by her son Ian Mackenzie of Lakewood, Colo., two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan.
