Ammar Lula Watts Royals

Mrs. Royals was born in Ocala, Florida on September 29, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Jettie and Mary Eula Watts. She was the wife of the late William Hulan Royals and was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Melissa Grainger, and a brother, Luke McDuffie Watts. She was a children’s Day Care Provider for many years. Mrs. Royals was a longtime faithful member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

She is survived by her six daughters, Farrel Grainger and husband Clint, Jennifer Yoo and husband Kirk, Belinda Wilson and husband Jeep, Carol Didyoung and husband Michael, Arlana Tyndall and husband Chris, Amma Faye Royals and significant other T.J. and all of her special seventh daughters; grandchildren, Steven Burris and wife Shastine, Olivia VanSteen and husband William, Ethan Robinson, Chloe King and husband Taylor, Logan Robinson, Casey Hewett, Jeepie Wilson, Aidan Robinson, Brycen Wilson, Carah Hewett, Mikey Didyoung, Cole Tyndall, Ryder Tyndall and Brody Didyoung; great grandchildren, Gabriel Honeycutt, Elijah Honeycutt, Madeline VanSteen, Nevaeh Ray, Camden VanSteen, Kingston Ray, Hulan VanSteen and Carter Robinson; a sister, Judith Ball; sister in-laws, Virginia Watts, Janice Owens and Mildred Robinson; a very dear cousin, Geneva Godwin; brother in-law, Rudolph Royal; numerous nieces and nephews and all her babies and friends that called her Mawmaw.

Funeral services will be held Monday May 22, 2023 at three o’clock in the afternoon at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Georgetown-Holden Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, Steven Burris, Ethan Robinson, Logan Robinson, Jeepie Wilson, Aidan Robinson, Brycen Wilson, Gabriel Honeycutt and Elijah Honeycutt.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from six o’clock until eight o’clock at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

In Lieu of flowers the family request memorials be directed to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Building Fund, 494 Mt. Pisgah Rd., Supply, NC 28462
