She was born on May 6, 1934 to the late Minnie and George Dix in Danville, Virginia.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Bowden; sister, Janet McCormack; granddaughter, Dianna Bowden.
Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Lisa Williams (husband, Peter); son, Kurt Bowden (wife, Cathy); grandsons, Mason and Lucas Williams; niece, Angela Evans (husband, Buddy).
Anna grew up in Ruffin, North Carolina and attended Happy Home School and Ruffin Highschool. She was an avid bird watcher, gardening, and world traveler.
