Betty graduated from Roxbury High School in 1968 and went on to have a career in early childhood education, teaching in preschools. She loved working with children and spending time with her grandson and great-grandson.
Betty is survived by her husband William Bair II, of Shallotte, NC, and three children, Shaun Patrick Toman and his wife Kerri of East Stroudsburg, PA, Kevin Michael Toman and his wife Diane of Shallotte, NC, and Tamara Jean “Tammy” Toman of Shallotte. She also had a precious grandson, Austin Miller and his wife Kimberly, of East Stroudsburg, PA. as well as a great-grandson Isiah James Miller who stole her heart.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Patrick Toman, and her sister, Janet Brock. Additionally, she leaves behind a loved sister Dianna Baylor of Whiteville.
