Charles Troy Bozeman, age 70, of Shallotte, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Charles was born September 29, 1951 in Brunswick County and was the son of the late Newman L. "NL" Bozeman and Betty Lou Bozeman. He was preceded in death by his sister Ruby and his brother Gary and a nephew Matthew all of Shallotte as well.
He is survived by his son Chris and wife Robin of Shallotte and his daughter Carmen Snead and husband Travis of Shallotte. As well as his heart, his grandchildren, Chelsey Bozeman, Fiancee' Lee Stanaland of Ash, Tyler Snead of Shallotte, MacKenzie Young, Chase Bozeman and Asher Snead all of Shallotte; a niece, Denise Dixon and husband Jeremy of Shallotte.
Troy spent his life doing what he loved. He enjoyed and loved his family dearly. He was especially proud of his family in particular his grandchildren and their many accomplishments. He enjoyed trips to the NC mountains, many times to just ride around looking at equipment for sale. Which lead to his other love, his trucking business. He enjoyed hours spent on heavy equipment doing what he loved.
Funeral services will be held Sunday February 6, 2022 at three o'clock in the afternoon at First Baptist Church Shallotte with Reverend Landis Lancaster officiating. Interment will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Snead, Chase Bozeman, Lee Stanaland, Jeff Gunther, Jeremy Dixon and Chad Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Blanton, Jerry Hall and Cameron Reaves.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of Travis and Carmen Snead.
