David Ernest Milligan

Mr. Milligan was born in Columbus County on March 19,1969 and was son of the late Ernest Vernon Milligan and Judith Gore Milligan. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Robbie Milligan. He was a hard worker and was dedicated to working the land as a farmer for thirty plus years as the farm manager for Milligan's Farm and also worked with Real Green Turf of Ash. David loved to cook and enjoying a good meal and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father and papa.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Toni Miller Milligan of the home; two sons, David Adam Milligan and wife Alex of Ash and Zach Jones of Winston-Salem; a daughter, Danielle Jones of Rocky Point; five grandchildren, Zayden Jones, Zane Hewett, David Owen Milligan, Rhett Milligan and Aycie Milligan; a brother, Joey Milligan and wife Lara of Ash; a sister, Lisa Leggett and husband David of Myrtle Beach and his canine companion, Sampson.

Funeral services will be held Monday June 16, 2025 at one o'clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service Lou White Memorial Chapel, 3660 Express Dr. Shallotte with Reverend Rick Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Jennies Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Baccarny, Kyle Baccarny, Phillip Gore, Brandon McCumbee, Zayden Jones and Joe Pauley.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
