Edna Collum McLamb

Beloved, Edna Collum McLamb, of Calabash, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, with her son and daughter by her side. She was born on May 22, 1941, and was 80 years old. Jennis Redell McLamb was her husband who recently passed on October 7, 2021. The world with her in it was a better place. Edna was an amazing individual who was kind and giving. She was an incredible, loving mother and grandmother. She had a special gift of being able to play the piano which she used to spread joy. Her legacy will be carried on by her son, Keith Potter and wife Jackie, her daughter Rhonda Mallory and husband Donald, and daughter Karen Ransom. She was loved by her grandchildren, Alisa, Kristin, Justin, Meghan, Heather and Collyn, and six great grandchildren. She will live on through them. A special thank you to Sherry and Mike Long, Pam, Amanda, Ricky, and Rosie. They cared for Edna and her children will forever be grateful for their kindness and generosity. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at eleven o'clock in the morning at the Manley Bennett Cemetery, Hickman’s Crossroads, 772 Hickman Rd NW, Calabash, NC. Reverend Carl Wood will be officiating the service.
