Jerry Lee Willetts

He was the son of the late Walter M. and Esta Mae Smith Willetts.

Jerry was an avid fisherman and enjoyed doing Taxidermy. He also was a very talented craft maker and loved animals.

He is survived by his siblings, Gracie Varnam of Supply, James Willetts of Shallotte, Darlene McGee (Bert) of Shallotte and Alvin Willetts of Supply; nephews, Jonathan Grubb of N. Charleston, S.C. and Colby Willetts of Supply; two nieces, Brandy Ludlum of Supply and Jessica Willetts of Raleigh and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Funeral services will be held at Soldier Bay Baptist Church on Wednesday February 18, 2026 at two o'clock in the afternoon with Reverend Jason Benton and Reverend Mark Smith officiating.

Burial will follow in the Azor James Smith Cemetery in Ash.

Pallbearers will be Edward Smith, Michael D. Long, Brian Long, Craig Miller, Billy Miller and Colby Willetts. Honorary pallbearers will be Stan Stanley and Timmy Smith.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
