Linda Estes

Linda was born October 14, 1942 in Cleveland County, daughter of the late Thomas Luther Bennett and Dorothy Barnett Bennett. She was a lifelong Methodist and was the Single's Coordinator before moving with her husband to the beach. After relocating to Brunswick County she became a member of Sharon United Methodist Church where she served in various capacities. She was also active in the United Methodist Women's Group and an active member of the Pilot Club. The Pilot Club is an organization that raises money for patients with brain injuries. She enjoyed traveling and collecting shells from the beach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Roxanne Cline.

Survivors include her husband Bill Estes of Shallotte; daughter, Sharon Lashelle Cline Ward of Georgia; sister, Gail Bennett Manning of Lake Wylie; four grandchildren, Haley, Sean, Brittany, and Dakota; and two great grandsons.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Sharon United Methodist Church with Reverend Jim Pegan officiating.
