Louise B. Gray

Louise was born January 2, 1939 in Brunswick County, daughter of the late Meckum and Belva Simmons Milligan. In 1955 she married Bobby Lawrence Gray and became a devoted military wife. She lived overseas multiple times as well as all over the country. Family was her life and she enjoyed spending time with her children, and grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed fishing with her lifelong friend Helen Barfield. Eating fish and crab legs was something she enjoyed doing with her family. She was the best friend anyone could ever have and will be greatly missed by many. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Melton, Curtis, Sherwood, Delbert, Layton, Mike, Lester, and sister Thelma.

Survivors include her children, Pamela Hicks and husband Ronnie of Jamestown, North Carolina and Jenny Gray Floyd and husband Horace of Shallotte; three grandchildren, Lora Hampton, Lucas Hicks, and Marcus Floyd; brother, Orbie Milligan; and a multitude of beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 at twelve o'clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service, 3660 Express Drive, Shallotte, North Carolina.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from eleven until twelve o'clock at the funeral home.
