Faye was born in Brunswick County on April 27, 1955 and was the daughter of the late Weldon and Kitty Grissett Hughes. She was a member of Old Shallotte Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Geddings and a sister, Judy Hickman.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Clemmons of the home; two grandchildren, Justin Geddings and Blair Geddings of Shallotte.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
