Ronald was born February 18, 1947 in New York, son of the late James Henry Bowen and Marie Paccione Bowen. He was a United States Air Force veteran having served during the Vietnam War. Mr. Bowen moved to North Carolina 11 years ago. While living in North Carolina he was an auctioneer, enjoyed fishing, singing karaoke, and telling tall tales. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Richard Bowen and John Christopher Bowen.
Survivors include his brother, Stephen Roger Bowen of New Jersey; sister, Susanne Bowen of New Jersey; nieces, Christina, Jennifer, Amanda, Stephanie, and Maryann; and one nephew James.
