Vivian Thomas

Mrs. Thomas was born in Brunswick County on September 12, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Johnny Martin Caison and Ettie Evelyn Moore Caison. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Martin Lavern “Bunny” Caison and Fonzi Deleno “Sam” Caison and a sister, Johnnie Mae Hughes. She owned and operated a florist in Calabash and Shallotte and was employed with The Legends Group prior to her retirement. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.

She is survived by two children, Michael Van Bullard and wife Beverly of Calabash, Kathy May and husband Bryon of Charlotte; a brother, Johnny Raldon Caison and wife Marsha of Calabash; a grandson, Christopher Bullard and wife Jennifer and great-granddaughter, Bailey Bullard; sister, Jojuan Somersett and husband Darry.

Funeral services will be held Saturday May 16th at 2pm at Beulah Baptist Church with Reverend D.L. Little officiating. Burial will follow in the Manley Bennett Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Bullard, Brandon Hardee, Rabon Moore, Collin Somersett, Drew Zender, Gavin Caison.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
